INTRODUCTION TO THE ROLE

The Middlesbrough Youth Mutual (MYM) is a partnership consisting of key organisations (led by Youth Focus, Actes Trust, The Junction Foundation and Linx Youth Project) who have formed an alliance to support the sustainability of high-quality youth provision across Middleborough.

The MYM has successfully secured funding from the National Community Lottery Fund to drive our strategy to help us deliver a strong and sustainable youth sector in the coming years. Our partnership builds on the strengths of individual organisations, developing shared goals and recognising the different approaches needed across our town.

​

As a result of this funding, Actes Trust are looking to employ a MYM Communications Officer on a part-time, fixed-term basis to play a leading role in implementing the MYM communications plan as well as managing all aspects of marketing and internal/external communications for the MYM.

Actes Trust are looking to appoint 1 x part time MYM Communications Officer

Salary: £26k p/a FTE (£10,541 pro rata)

Working Hours: 15 hours per week (home/office hybrid)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 31st March 2027
