About The Project
Free Your Potential was a personal development programme for unemployed adults aged 19+ living in Middlesbrough. Designed to help people identify and overcome barriers that may have been preventing them from moving forward, the project provided a supportive environment where participants could rebuild confidence, rediscover their strengths and aspirations, and take positive steps towards their goals. Delivered in small groups by a qualified tutor, the programme combined practical guidance, goal-setting activities and tailored support to help individuals develop greater self-belief, access specialist services where needed, and explore routes into training, volunteering and employment.

This approach helped participants focus on their potential rather than the challenges they faced, empowering them to make positive life changes and work towards a brighter future.
