Not all of our work fits neatly into a single theme. We work with communities to identify local needs and develop projects that help people overcome barriers, access opportunities and achieve their goals.

From digital inclusion and financial capability to youth participation and community support, the projects featured below highlight the wide range of ways we have supported individuals and communities to thrive.

middlesbrough youth mutual

A youth partnership, led by Actes Trust, Youth Focus North East, Linx Youth Project and The Junction Foundation designed to support the sustainability of high-quality youth provision across Middlesbrough.

peer action collective

A network of Peer Researchers, Social Action Leads, and Changemakers empowering young people with lived experience of violence to drive meaningful change.

A short community course aimed at supporting digitally-excluded Middlesbrough residents to become more confident with using a computer.

An award-winning, new concept clothing bank which provided good quality free clothing (casual, formal and work wear) to people in need living in Middlesbrough.

A UK Government-funded scheme supporting adults to build numeracy skills by linking maths to everyday lives.
