Middlesbrough Youth Mutual - Better Together - Foundations is a project that provides safe spaces, support and guidance to young people living in targeted wards across Middlesbrough, to help them build confidence and move forward.

About The Project
We are a delivery partner on the MYM - Better Together - Foundations project, a National Lottery-funded programme designed to provide safe, supportive spaces where young people can build confidence, develop new skills and access opportunities that help them thrive.
The programme combines youth clubs, outreach activities and targeted support to ensure young people can access the guidance, skills and opportunities they need. Through age-appropriate activities, young people can develop confidence, social and life skills, explore future career options, and receive personalised support to achieve their goals.
Our specific role on the programme is to work alongside Linx Youth Project to provide dedicated careers information, advice and guidance (IAG) and employability support for young people aged 15+, helping them overcome barriers and take positive steps towards education, employment and training.

Guidance to access college courses, apprenticeships, training programmes and job opportunities.
