​​What is Community Healthy Hearts?

Community Healthy Hearts is a community health initiative that supports local VCSE organisations and Hubs to deliver free blood pressure checks and promote cardiovascular wellbeing across Middlesbrough. It is led by Middlesbrough Council and Public Health South Tees, and we are a delivery partner on the project, alongside a wide range of local charities and community hubs. Our role on the project is to ensure VCSE delivery partners have the resources, training, systems access, and guidance they need to be able to carry out and report on blood pressure checks across Middlesbrough.

Who does it help?

Any adult living in MIddlesbrough is eligible to attend a blood pressure check drop-in session. Please check with your local community hub for information on when the next session is running.
