About The Project

Past, Present & Your Future is an award-winning, National Lottery-funded programme designed to support Middlesbrough and Stockton-on-Tees residents with convictions to overcome barriers and move forward with confidence. Delivered on a one-to-one basis, the programme provides tailored guidance and support to help participants better understand how their convictions may affect future opportunities in employment, education and training.

Participants receive practical advice on topics such as conviction disclosure, the difference between spent and unspent convictions, the impact convictions can have on career choices, and how to prepare an effective disclosure statement. The project also helps participants identify employers and organisations that actively support people with convictions.

By increasing confidence, motivation and understanding, Past, Present & Your Future empowers participants to focus on their strengths rather than their past, helping them take positive steps towards employment, education and training opportunities.
